Terms of Service
What applies once you engage Fieldnote Security for an assessment.
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Business status
Fieldnote Security is operated by Kiet Hoong through [COMPANY LEGAL NAME TBC], a limited company registered in England and Wales. Company number: [COMPANY NUMBER TBC]. Registered office: [REGISTERED ADDRESS TBC].
Nature of services
Fieldnote Security provides authorized security scanning and manual review services - vulnerability assessment, GDPR compliance checks, email security checks, accessibility checks, third-party script audits, and domain/DNS health checks. Every scan is authorized-only: no scan is run against a domain or target until the client has confirmed, in writing, that they are authorized to grant that permission. This written record is collected via the authorization form before any assessment begins.
Scope of liability
Reports reflect the findings identified at the time the scan was run. They are a snapshot, not a guarantee - security postures change as configurations, software, and threats change, and a clean report today doesn't mean a domain will remain free of new vulnerabilities tomorrow. Fieldnote Security is not liable for issues that arise, or are discovered, after the assessment date.
Payment terms
[Payment terms - placeholder, pending final invoicing setup. Specific terms (deposit, invoicing schedule, accepted payment methods) will be confirmed here once decided.]
Confidentiality
Any data, scan targets, or report contents shared as part of an engagement are treated as confidential. Reports and findings are not shared with any third party without the client's permission, and are not used as case studies, testimonials, or public examples unless the client agrees to that separately.
Service delivery timelines
[Delivery timelines - TBC. Typical turnaround will be confirmed here once a consistent baseline has been established across engagements.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
